ClimatePrediction.Net

This experiment has been developed to allow a state-of-the-art climate prediction model to be run on home/ school/work computers. By getting data from 1000s of climate models, we will generate the world's largest climate prediction experiment.

Lifemapper

Lifemapper is a distributed Internet computing project, processing and mapping records of millions of plants and animals in the world's natural history museums. It computes the ecological profile of each species, maps where the species has been found, and predicts where each species could potentially live.

Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC)

BOINC is being developed by the SETI@home team to enable researchers in areas as diverse as molecular biology, climatology, and astrophysics to tap into the enormous but under-utilized calculating power of personal computers world-wide.
